Dr. Supriya Krishnan, O.D., COVD, MBA, originally from India, holds a degree in Computer Science Engineering and an MBA in Finance from the University of Tampa, both earned with honors. After gaining valuable experience in the U.S. healthcare system through roles at a large Tampa hospital and WellCare, she pursued her Doctorate of Optometry at the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas. During her optometry training, she was actively involved in professional associations, including serving as a student liaison for the Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association (NORA) and as a member of the Sigma Alpha Pi Honor Society. She also participated in numerous volunteer efforts, including school screenings and Special Olympics.

Dr. Krishnan completed diverse clinical externships, gaining experience in ocular disease management, specialty contact lenses, amblyopia, LASIK and cataract pre- and post-operative care, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and macular degeneration. She further volunteered at a practice in Bangalore, India, where she co-managed complex ocular conditions such as uveitis, ocular injuries, and corneal disorders. A member of the American Optometric Association and Texas Optometric Association, Dr. Krishnan brings both academic excellence and compassionate care to her patients. She currently resides in Memorial with her husband, Lokesh, and their three children. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, traveling, exploring cultures, music, swimming, and tennis.
